I think the difference between upper tier and lower tier is mostly about trust instead of skill. I got bumped back to a one star, but I'm still in the upper tier.

Well so far we haven't really needed 3+ people to run the joining process, but I do see your point. I will add that polocy though. From here on out all UPPER TIER clan members can play members that wish to join. Happy Noice! And so when we try someone out, should we just pm telling you that we did so, and mebbe an overview of their skills? And does anyone get into the lower tier, regardless of their skill? Yeah, just Pm me with a brief overview of their skill/style.

So does that mean I can recruit??? Unfortunately, your member title under your username does not say Upper Tier. But if you work your way up, you can recruit. Just not now.

But you sure can invite/advertise to your heart's content! Speaking of which, I think we should try and get some people to join-not as many people have been recruited recently...

I was thinking about starting a refferal game. Who can reffer the most clan members in one month wins a prize or something, such as their own sub-board for that month or something to the like.

Maybe for lower tier members, you could offer a promotion to upper tier if they recruit 5 people or something...

On second thought, we just had a big burst in new members-Mebbe we don't need to encourage recruiting :-)

I'm getting quite good at the "How to get into the upper tier" spiel...I've said it a few times in other random places on other threads, but here goes: Getting into the Upper tier isn't a matter of skill at the game, nor how many cookies you give to Spade. To get into the upper tier, you need to be a valuable member of the clan-not by winning matches, mind you-by being active, helpful, and by being a trusted and longtime member. So, here are some examples of instances in which someone cannot be promoted (We'll use 'Jack' as an example) Jack just joined the clan last week. He's really nice, and has helped other members in several ways, and seems quite trustworthy. He CANNOT become an upper tier, as he is a very new member. Though there is no exact amount of time before you can get promoted, it IS nice to get to know the members well first. Jack has been in the clan for several months. He's really nice, and quite helpful, and really active. However, he told another clan about our plans of ruling the world with A cat, a toaster, and jam. Since he isn't trustworthy, he cannot be promoted. Jack has been in the clan for several months. He's an all around jerk, but he's a legendary hunter, and can hand my rear end to me, with his eyes closed 1v1. He's online 24/7, and helps people out, it's just that he's really arrogant and keeps eating our toast and jam. He can't be a member, because he's a meanie. Jack has been in the clan for several months. He's the best in the clan at battles, and can even beat vyper in headshots. He helps others out, giving them tips and whatknot, and has been trusted with confidential clan secrets. However he's only on once or twice a week. He's not an upper tier member. This time, it's JILL! Jill's a major hotty. Plus, her membership in the clan has lasted longer than any of her relationships with Jack. She's bad at the game, but that doesn't matter, as we said before. She's really nice. She unicycles. She is pretty trustworth, except when it comes to who's dating who. She isn't helpful. BAM-case closed-not an upper tier-er. So just remember: Stay active, Stay nice, Stay trustworthy, Stay in the clan for a while Stay helpful. The Five 'Stays'. Or, acronymically (is that a word?), ANTCH. (active, nice, trustworthy, clan membership, and helpful.) Dun
