...Why havent I heard of wavedashing...? Seriously, wtf is it? ur not the only one, what does it mean? Arakashi let me in on it, and apparently its jumping, blocking, moving and other stuff all at once. And the commands make the game skip the jumping animation to the point where its a speedy dodge. Its basically like a rolling dodge, but without the rolling. I dont see the point of it. I could just take a few bob-ombs and there goes their "technique".

Huh. I looked into it (googled it), and found a guide that seems accurate-go to: smashbros.planets.gamespy.com/game_ssbm_strat.phpI haven't tried it out, but it sounds like it would make sense. It seems to me that you're basically doing that thing where you shield in the air (air dodge), and move in a direction close to the ground repeatedly, and you can do it really fast. I'll probably try it out tomorrow (I'm having 7 other kids from my church who are about my age come to my house for a video game night/sleepover/stay awake all night over-We'll have two xboxes, so all eight of us can play at a time on halo2 on these two projectors/screens that my dad got from his office, and we'll play some SSBM and DDR. Oh, and don't worry-the PS2 and Xboxes aren't mine-So i don't own 4 systems ;D just my GC

I tried wave dashing and it still doesnt really do much for me. I've even mastered it, really.
I dont see this as a useful technique. The rolling dodge is more...effective.
